Install the Particle Separator and a new stock air filter within a week of each other and keep your proof of purchase for both items. (Polaris & Can-Am owners should make sure to apply waterproof grease on the flange of the air filter before installing it to keep dust from getting around the seal.)
Check your air filter periodically.
While the Particle Separator will make your filter last for what seems like forever, you still need to be a responsible UTV owner and check your air filter at least once per month. If you use your RZR in severe conditions (lots of mud, water, dust or sand), you should check it more frequently.
How will I know if I qualify for a free filter?
Simply weigh your filter to see if it has hit the capacity weight listed on our web site at www.sbfilters.com/particle-separator. If it is over the capacity weight within a year of you purchasing the new stock air filter and S&B Particle Separator, we will send you a new air filter.
Will this void my vehicle warranty?
Absolutely not since you are still using the stock air filter.
Does this apply to Racers as well?
Nice try. We won’t give you a year, but we will guarantee that you can run the Baja 1000 twice without having to change your filter.*
